Sustainable Water Scholarships and Research Fellowships

Association of Biology Laboratory Educators (ABLE) Conference for undergraduate biology faculty; adaptations of aquatic insects to habitat and food resources in streams.

The interdisciplinary requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree in Water: Resources, Policy, and Management will prepare students well for employment or graduate school in the rapidly growing fields involving water resources. Scientific and policy analyses of water resources, quality, and conservation are essential for development of sustainability plans in both the public and private sectors.  Scholarship and Research Fellowship recipients will have a genuine opportunity to invent the future during their careers and to reflect on the critical role of Virginia Tech’s College of Natural Resources and Environment in providing an early foundation for their success.
